“AeroSvit – Ukrainian Airlines” has launched the first Partner sales center of airline tickets sales and customer service in Baku (Azerbaijan). At this moment this is the first project of strategic cooperation between Ukrainian airline and agency in and . Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of in Azerbaijan Republic Boris Klimchuk, and top management of AeroSvit Airlines and “Delta Group LTD” participated in the opening ceremony of the Center.

 “On Baku route AeroSvit has proved to be an effective and a reliable carrier. The number of passengers that choose this company is constantly growing, this means that the level of “public diplomacy” is growing as well, at the same time the foundations for the strategic development between and grow stronger” – noted Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of in Azerbaijan Boris Klimchuk.

 “Friendly relations between our countries promote the development of economic affairs, strengthen relations in the fields of culture, science, medicine, public relations and other spheres of national economy. As a result of the integration the number of flights between Baku and Kiev must increase. Today the frequency of flights is 5 per week. This generated the idea to create consolidated office, its draft was projected last year and today this idea was implemented” – stated the director of agency “Delta Group LTD” Elnur Mamedov.

 1. “AeroSvit” started operation between the capitals of and in July 2004 with one flight per week. Today the airline performs five flights per week on this route. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays the aircraft departs from Kiev at 02:50 a.m. and arrives to Baku at 7:50 a.m. The second flight on Sunday according to the schedule departs at 12:40 arriving to Baku at 17:45. On the way back, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday the aircraft departs from Baku at 09:00 a.m. and arrives to Kiev at 10:05 local time. The second flight on Sunday departs from Baku at 19:15 arriving to Kiev at 20:25.  

 In 2008 this flight carried 31800 passengers on the route Kiev-Baku-Kiev with average load factor 85%.
